YOU CAN REGISTER AT THE EVENT. CASH OR CHECK ONLY PLEASE.

Come learn about Chicago 2016, the Olympic bid process, and how Chicago plans to hold the games in our beautiful city and lakefront. Presentation to be led by Deb McDonald, volunteer manager and committee member of 2016.  This is a great opportunity to ask questions, learn about this exciting initiative and become involved.

In addition to learning about 2016, attendees will be invited to sign-up to become Official 2016 volunteers after the presentation.  Although the 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games are seven years away, there are several opportunities to get involved and support Chicago in the Olympic bidding process. As one of the four Candidate Cities, Chicago 2016 needs your volunteer support now more than ever.  Volunteers will be invited to participate in a variety of functions for Chicago 2016. Office activities, bid-related support, community outreach, event participation and event management are most in need of volunteer support.  For example, in the past, volunteers have represented 2016 at events such as the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, International Olympic Committee (IOC) Evaluation Commission Visit and the America’s Cup Gymnastics Competition.  We hope to see you on May 5.
