On October 7, The Council of One Hundred hosted a Young Alumnae Event in Chicago. The evening included a panel discussion titled "The Evolution of Your Career" and featured wisdom and insights from:

Linda Foley (J77) who evolved from journalist, to president of the National Newspaper Guild union, to member of a national labor committee, and now president of the Berger-Marks Foundation, which encourages women to become union leaders.

Marci Koblenz-Cornblath (C80, GC 80) President, Center for Companies That Care whose career evolved from big HR firm consulting to her own consulting to president of a non-profit focused on employee work life balance.

Vickie Snoy (J68) Director of the Newark Boys Chorus School whose career evolved from corporate communications at Prudential to paid non-profit work.

Ava Youngblood (McC79) whose career evolved from a chemical engineer in research and development with BP Amoco into operations, then strategic planning; now president/CEO of her own firm, Youngblood Executive Search, Inc.

The panel was moderated by Janet Shlaes, Ph.D. (GSEP91, GSESP 96).
