Los Angeles careers can be unique, but the personal stories behind them provide insights into work and life decisions that are universal. For the June 12 Northwestern Explores in L.A. - Work Well, Live Smart event, we gathered a panel of alumni to share their own experiences:

Janae Bakken (C96), television producer and screenwriter best known for her work on the television series Scrubs

Anne Louise Bannon (GJ95), author of two books and a writer and columnist for multiple blogs

Paul Glen (KSM91), principal with C2 Consulting and an award-winning columnist for Computerworld

Mary Anne McGarry (GC77), educator, producer, writer, and television and film actress

David Rone (L87), managing director for CAA Sports

Our panel was moderated by Candy Deemer (J76, GJ77), author, writer, and executive coach at Interven Partners.

This Career Tracks podcast was recorded as part of Northwestern Explores, a year-long series developed by the Northwestern Alumni Association that focuses on specific issues of the day including career services and life skills.
