NU Club of Boston
Fellow New England Alumni,
Did you know that you are one of over 3,000 Northwestern University alumni in New England? That means there are many opportunities to reconnect with former classmates, make new friends, network with alums in different industries and have a great time with fellow Wildcats!
If you joined us for any of last year's events, I thank you! If you did not have a chance, I look forward to meeting you in 2012. I hope the coming year will continue the NU Club of Boston's tradition of putting together a variety of events offering something for everyone.
Last year, we watched the Wildcats beat the BC Eagles on their home turf in Chestnut Hill. We took special guided tours of the MFA and the ICA. We were able to learn from career coach Matthew Temple about "Reinventing Your Career". We enjoyed an amazing wine and cheese tasting at Formaggio Kitchen, and laughed in the North End with "Comedy and Cannolis".
Your membership support is instrumental in creating a variety of programming which entertains, educates and connects our Northwestern community - and brings Evanston a little further east. As a benefit to members, almost all events are offered at a discount, such that your membership dues pay for themselves with just a couple of ticket purchases. Your participation also helps the NU Club support current students with our contribution to the Scholarship Fund and with our participation in a welcome picnic for Northwestern’s incoming freshman class.
You can become a member by mailing the form below or by going online to www.alumni.northwestern.edu/boston/ and clicking on "Membership". I hope to see you in the coming year, whether it is for a theater performance or a Red Sox game.
President, NU Club of Boston
In Spring 2010, the NU Club of Boston received 2 donations for our club scholarship fund. Our club scholarship fund helps provide partial scholarships to Boston-area students to help them attend Northwestern. We are thankful to those who participated in the program and would like to recognize you on our honor roll below.
