The Northwestern Wildcats topped the Mississippi State Bulldogs 34-20 to win Taxslayer.com Gator Bowl in Jacksonville, Florida, on January 1, securing the team's first bowl game victory since the 1949 Rose Bowl.

Thousands of Northwestern alumni and friends were on hand to cheer on the 'Cat to victory.
