NU Club of Chicago -- Kindness Connection Volunteer Event
Join the NU Club of Chicago and help complete various service projects to benefit Habitat for Humanity, Hines VA Hospital, Special Olympics, and other nonprofits including organizations which serve children in need, the elderly, and sheltered animals. Service projects are appropriate for people between the ages of 5 and 105.
There is a $5 fee to cover the costs of goods used.
We have a variety of projects to benefit Habitat for Humanity. These projects may include decorating planters and placemats, and designing coaster sets. The gifts will be given to new homeowners as housewarming presents.

- Making get well cards, writing encouraging letters, and creating drawings for recovering military personnel.

- Decorating small planters for elderly served by Little Brothers -- Friends of the Elderly.
- Packing healthy lunches for the homeless served by Hilda's Place in Evanston.
