Event Details

Get introduced to Council members before returning to school in the fall and get connected with alumnae who can help answer career-related questions. Meet entrepreneurs, business people, public affairs consultants, legislative staffers, bankers, non-profit research associates, lawyers, and journalists.

At the Denver Metro event, you will discover:

  • How an SESP graduate went from high school English teacher to trial attorney and an elected Local Official.
  • How a theater major became a junior high school teacher, then a corporate legal executive with major cable companies, and then found her passion with a non-profit story telling organization.
  • How a former banker was elected chairperson of the Board of Trustees of a $500 million city-owned health system
  • How a litigation attorney became a corporate legal executive for various telecom and cable companies, a GM of a cable system and the VP of Technical Operations for the largest division of a major cable company.
  • How a School of Communication major coached speech and debate, married, had two sons, earned a Masters and Doctorate, was a high school principal, developed a computer assisted self paced high school, and now teaches at a University.
  • How a biomedical engineering major became an orthopedic hand surgeon, and how she balances life as a physician, a mother of two, and a sports enthusiast
