Date:
Oct 29 2008

On Wednesday, October 29, a crowd of nearly 200 alumni and friends gathered for "The Presidential Election 2008: Who Would Have Thought?” to discuss the upcoming election.

The expert presenters were Professor Emeritus Kenneth Janda, the Payton S. Wild Professor Emeritus of Political Science in the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences and Victoria DeFrancesco Soto, an assistant professor of political science at the Weinberg College and a faculty fellow at the University’s Institute for Policy Research

After a reception in the lobby of the Robert H. Lurie Medical Research Center on Northwestern’s downtown campus, alums and friends engaged with the presenters on a vast array of issues including honesty in the election, the choice of running mates and the Bradley Effect.
