NU Club of Chicago presents "Holiday Cooking at The Chopping Block"
Be prepared for holiday entertaining with great new menu ideas for that special party. Network with other friends and alumni while learning to cook impressive holiday appetizers, while picking up some entertaining tips.
During the hands-on session, we will cook curried chicken skewers with peanut dipping sauce, smoked salmon canapes with dill creme fraiche, crispy wonton wrapped shrimp with sweet chili dipping sauce, carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, chocolate cream puff with milk chocolate and caramel mousse.
Each group of cooks will make an appetizer to add to the buffet. All will be able to enjoy the fruits of their labor as the buffet will be open throughout the entirety of the cooking lesson.
