NU Club of Houston -- A Day at Houston Food Bank

The NU Club of Houston will be joining up with alumni from other Big Ten schools for a community service event at the Houston Food Bank.
Event Details
The event will take place from 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. and will involve organizing and packaging individual food items that have been donated by local grocery stores and collected at food drives. Volunteers should plan on arriving by 7:50 a.m. Minimum age for volunteers is 8 years old.

Please note each new volunteer must complete an online waiver and create a profile on the Houston Food Bank website. If you have already completed the waiver and created a profile you do not need to do so again. New volunteers can access the waiver and create a profile by clicking the appropriate links below:
Please note the dress code for the Houston Food Bank:
· All shoes are closed-toed and do not have an open back
· All shirts have sleeves and are not overly tight or revealing
· Shorts and skirts must be mid-length
· No overly loose or dangling clothing/jewelry
· Cell phone use is limited to the Front Lobby only
· Purses and bags are left in the car
· No horse playing or riding on pallet jacks/forklift equipment
