NU Club of LA -- Holiday Cocktail Party and Toy Drive (2009)

Come celebrate the Holidays and give back! The NU Club of Los Angeles in coordination with the Children's Institute International is holding their annual HOLIDAY COCKTAIL PARTY at Raleigh Studios in Hollywood.

The Children's Institute International is a century-old, non-profit organization that counsels and, in some cases, houses abused and neglected children in the Los Angeles area. The more than 3,000 children, who range in age from toddler to teens, are treated at facilities in Torrance and Koreatown. The children, who often come from drug-addicted and violence prone families, represent all races, ethnicities, and economic classes.

There is no fee to attend, though all guests are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy that will be presented later to the children.
