NU-Kellogg Club of Toronto -- Dead Sea Scrolls at the ROM with Rabbi Baruch Frydman-Kohl

THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST. THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT.
Those of you who will not be part of the Dead Sea Scrolls tour are welcome to join us at an informal reception at 1 p.m. following the ROM visit at the nearby Duke of York Pub (39 Prince Arthur Ave). Please contact David Lubek (dlubek@cppib.ca) for more information.
The NU-Kellogg Alumni Club of Toronto is pleased to offer you a once in a lifetime opportunity to visit one of the greatest archaeological finds of the 20th century, with commentary provided by Northwestern alum Rabbi Baruch Frydman-Kohl (a contributor to the exhibit).
The Dead Sea Scrolls is the earliest record of biblical patriarchs and prophets known to Judaism, Christianity and Islam. The Scrolls are on display only until January 3, 2010, so this could be your only chance to view these historic artifacts!
Rabbi Frydman-Kohl has been senior rabbi of Beth Tzedec Congregation since 1993. He graduated from the School of Education and Social Policy at Northwestern in 1972. In June 1992, the Rabbi was awarded a Coolidge Fellowship to pursue research in an inter-faith community at the Episcopal Divinity School at Harvard. He received his doctorate in Jewish Philosophy from the Jewish Theological Seminary in 2004 and was named Senior Rabbinic Fellow of the Shalom Hartman Institute of Jerusalem.
This will be a great opportunity to see one of the greatest archaeological finds of the 20th century, meet other Northwestern alumni in Toronto and interact with Rabbi Frydman-Kohl.
Purchase tickets here. Space is limited. Please purchase your tickets by November 24.
Please note that if you are currently a ROM member, you need to purchase your tickets separately online prior to the event and request the 11:30 timeslot.
