NU Club of DC: A Private Tour of 30 Americans at the Corcoran

Please join the NU Club of DC on Thursday, January 26, 2012, at the Corcoran Gallery of Art for a private tour of the 30 Americans exhibit. Our guided tour will be begin promptly at 6:30. We will meet at 6:15 in the lobby of the Corcoran, which is located at 500 17th Street, N.W. The tour will last approximately one hour.

30 Americans showcases a wide-ranging survey of works by many of the most important African American contemporary artists of the last three decades. By bringing seminal artistic figures together with younger and emerging artists, the exhibition explores artistic influence across generations and sheds light on issues of racial, sexual and historical identity. Often provocative and challenging, 30 Americans at the Corcoran explores ideas central to the American experience.

Members and their guests can register for the private tour for $12/person and nonmembers can register for $22/person, which includes one year of membership to the NU Club of DC.
