HOLIDAY SOCIAL AND TOYFEST

Dear Northwestern Alums and Friends:

Take time out of your busy holiday season schedule to relax and socialize for awhile at the NU Club of Rockford Holiday Social and Toyfest on Sunday, December 7, from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm.

We will meet at the home of Deanna and Rick Hartenberg, 2865 Soland Drive, Rockford, IL 61114 (815-877-1768), that Sunday afternoon. The club will provide liquid refreshments in the form of wine and softer drinks. We would like you to bring an appetizer or snack and – most important – a new unwrapped toy for us to bring to the Salvation Army later for distribution to needy children.

It will be a great time to share some holiday good will and to relax with fellow NU folks and celebrate the bowl bound Wildcat football team. By the way, the Bears and Packers each have a noon game on that Sunday. I am sure that Deanna will have a TV set on so that you can keep track of your favorite team.
