Chaminade College Preparatory School
425 S. Lindbergh Blvd.
St. Louis, MO 63141
20 million active accounts on Twitter.
120 million professionals on LinkedIn.
750 million people (and a few cats) on Facebook.
How on earth are you supposed to stand out?!
There are many ways, of course, and tonight, we're going to focus on one that doesn't require that you write a book, record an embarrassing video, or engage in blatant self-promotion.
Our keynote speaker, Kellogg '02 alum Jason Seiden, has studied and consulted on the topics of professional communications for nearly 17 years. His company was recently selected by LinkedIn to help professional clients optimize their online profiles. Tonight, he's going to share strategies, tactics, and exercises that will help you show off your best side and help you market you.
Attendees will learn:
• How the concept of personal branding can apply to professional development and further career goals
• How to shape unique work and life experiences into an authentic and compelling professional story
• How tools such as an elevator pitch, LinkedIn, blogs and other social media can be effectively used to share your story
Everyone who wants to further develop their ability to stand out in the digital crowd will benefit, including:
• Students and new graduates
• Experienced managers
• Entrepreneurs
• Career changers
