NU Club of Milwaukee -- "RIFProofing(SM)" Career Seminar

Members and friends of the NU Club of Milwaukee came together on May 14 at the Country Springs Hotel and Conference Center to learn about RIFProofing (SM) their careers from Chicago career coach, author, and speaker Rob Sullivan (GJ90). Sullivan covered a wide range of topics including networking and resuming writing, answered many questions, and helped calm some fears about the current job market with his tips and ideas.

Those in attendance were challenged, asked to take a hard look at what they do and to learn how to verbalize the value they are bringing to their current position. Current job seekers were asked to consider how they have made an impact in the past if looking for a new position in this uncertain market. Attendees spent time networking with each other after Rob’s presentation was completed, exchanging ideas, and business cards and resumes in hopes of helping each other during this tough economic time.
