Career Transition Teleclass (06.25.09)

On June 25, more than 250 Northwestern alumni participated in a career transition teleclass titled “Eight Steps to a Successful Career Transition" presented by Brian Kurth, career strategist and founder of VocationVacations. The class was made up of Northwestern and Oregon State University alumni and friends and was targeted at those who are making a transition in their career – whether it is looking for a new job, starting a business, or seeking to change careers altogether. Some topics Kurth covered included how to address your career transition fears, how to create an action plan, and how to create a professional brand.
