Just for Students
The NAA is your connection to the nearly 200,000-strong alumni community. It’s never too early to start expanding your network. The NAA offers access to a community of leaders in whatever your pursuit, as well as volunteer opportunities to strengthen student-alumni programming.
Alumni Connection Series
This is a series of career exploration events for undergraduates at Northwestern, although the events are open to students and alumni of all academic levels. The focus of the events is to provide attendees with opportunities to learn more about career path options.
Countdown to Commencement
NAA's annual series for seniors includes a mix seminars on useful real world topics (finances, career planning) with events that focus on the lighter side of graduation.
Dinner with Twelve Strangers
Students, alumni, and faculty meet and mix in a relaxed setting.
The Etiquette Banquet
A yearly feast at which students learn the "dos and don'ts" of dining in both formal and casual environments. The four-to-seven course meal is hosted by the NAA and the Northwestern Class Alliance.
Mock Interviewing
Students have an opportunity to practice interviewing skills in a live simulated environment with young professionals. The fall session is dedicated to members of the senior class and the winter session is for freshman, sophomores and juniors.
Northwestern Externship Program (NEXT)
NAA's student externships help to prepare undergraduate students for their careers by providing invaluable job-shadowing opportunities with alumni in many fields.
Northwestern Class Alliance (NCA)
NCA -The Student Alumni Partnership is a student-run organization that connects students with alumni on campus, online and in their home communities. NCA members help plan campus-wide activities such as NU Day at Wrigley, Etiquette Banquet, Dinner with 12 Strangers, Alumni Connections Series and much much more! Regional, National, and International Alumni Clubs
The NAA has established alumni clubs across the county and the globe. Wherever you end up after graduation, be sure to find out if there's a club near you. Signing up for membership in an alumni club brings you a variety of benefits, including special events, networking, social outings, and more.
