Northwestern Club of Chicago - Moonlight Canoeing on the Skokie Lagoons on October 1, 2011

On Saturday, October 1st, a group of Chicago area alumni traversed the seven pools of the Skokie Lagoons by moonlight. Guided by Friends of the Chicago River, we enjoyed a brief history of the Lagoons (built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s), serene canoing and a campfire complete with s'mores. We hope to return next season!
