This event is part of a year-long Northwestern Explores NAA program focusing on the economy, career services, and life skills. We are excited to bring this special series to San Francisco.Join fellow alumni for an evening of networking and a panel discussion moderated by Lonnie Dunlap, Executive Director, University Career Services. The panel will discuss hot jobs in the Bay Area in the areas of green technology, sustainability, and entrepreneurialism.

Moderator for the evening:

Robert Parkhurst (WCAS93)
Climate Protection and Analysis Manager, Pacific Gas and Electric Company
Parkhurst is responsible for providing technical support on the implementation of California’s Global Warming Solutions Act (AB32). He was appointed to the California Climate Action Registry Board of Directors by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Panelists for the evening include:

Noah Eckert (WCAS98)
Senior Project Developer, BP Solar

Noah is responsible for developing large commercial and utility solar projects throughout the United States.  He has lead development and execution efforts for key accounts totaling over 15MW in Power Purchase Agreements (PPA).  Prior to joining BP Solar he worked in the hi-tech sector in Scotland, managed large national accounts in the wire-line and wireless telecommunications industry, and helped jump start a private equity firm. 

Anne Feldhusen (KSM88)
Green Business Technology Consulting
Feldhusen provides expertise to renewable energy companies in marketing their technology to companies. She was previously marketing manager for Hewlett-Packard Company’s Green Business Technology Initiative.  The program enabled clients to meet business goals while at the same time reducing environmental impact; she also launched HP’s first large-scale solar installation.

Mary Jo Potter (SESP73)
Managing Partner and CEO, Hyperlink
Mary Jo has been a management consultant for more than 25 years, working with organizations during mergers, restructurings, and redirections. She has served clients in the health care, technology, financial services, and information services sectors, including Genentech, Kodak, and Bank of America.
