NU Lakefill in Evanston

Click here to register or donate.
Join NU President Schapiro, the Northwestern University Black Alumni Association (NUBAA), NAA, and FMO as we salute diversity with the 2012 “NUBAA Race for Diversity 5K”.

Register before March 1st and receive $10 off the $30 registration fee.  Once endowed, this scholarship fund will be awarded annually to deserving African American high school seniors attending Northwestern. The race is open to the entire Northwestern Wildcat community and the general public. The course is a certified 5K, so the serious runners can add the race to their running resume.  This is a family event featuring a “1-mile healthy children's fun run."

*All children under the age of 18 and Northwestern undergraduate students are eligible to participate for $10. Baby strollers welcomed.

To register for the 5K Run/Walk or to donate, if you cannot attend - Click here to register or donate.

Online registration ends on May 18, 2012 and donations are always accepted. Your donations are tax deductible and count toward your annual giving, if you are an alum of the University.

Participating in the "NUBAA 5K Race for Diversity” is a great way for those who care about diversity to bring awareness to the issue. The race symbolically gives a voice to the low percentage of African Americans at NU. The race itself is also a chance to showcase the spirit and pride of NUBAA, Northwestern University and the cities of Evanston and Chicago.
