Welcome to the NU Club of Portland!
 
Boasting more than 1,500 alumni in the Oregon and SW Washington area, we try to keep our events varied, insightful and engaging.  From our humble beginnings in 2000 at a NU v. Minnesota football game at a local bar to record-breaking philanthropy for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, our Club strives to offer a true NU experience to those who still bleed purple.
 
Join us (link to registration site) for any of our regular events.  We host Northwestern Football watch parties every weekend in the Fall at Macadam’s Bar & Grill.  The Portland Club has recently added regular social (and networking) events like “NU Brews.”  We take advantage of the nation’s highest “brewery-per-capita” ratio and gather together once a month at a local brewery or bar for happy hour.
 
The NU Club of Portland has also featured an annual Northwestern and Local “celebrity” Speaker Series, a New Student Party for incoming freshman, an annual Chicago-style pizza party and the ever popular Big10 Holiday Party and Oregon Food Bank drive in the winter.
