Dear Alumni:

The Kellogg School of Management’s (KSM) international standing as a prestigious, vibrant, and dynamic business school—now ranked third in BusinessWeek—has been instrumental in the success of countless leaders in the business world. The school has consistently provided a world-class education and innovative training to both students and alumni, offering the necessary tools to be successful in a vast array of industries— from investment banking to consulting.

At Kellogg, we continue to create distinctive experiences for current students via many new programs and curricula including:

  • Launching two certificate programs for undergraduates in collaboration with the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences and the McCormick School of Engineering. These programs further the interdisciplinary mission of the University, and create a whole new realm of possibilities for students who will lead the future of international business.
  • Continuing our Global Initiatives in Management (GIM) program, an annual leadership course designed by Kellogg students and faculty advisers that provides a first-hand knowledge of the culture, economics, and governance of foreign countries. This past year, students gained intensive hands-on experience by meeting with Lee Myung-bak, president of South Korea.
  • Partnering with the National Basketball Association (NBA), as we have partnered with the National Football League (NFL), to offer an executive education for pro players that provides a leadership framework for the business world.

As alumni, your personal and career achievements play just as vital a part in reinforcing the Kellogg School’s reputation. Through your involvement—whether it is support, reunions participation, mentoring current students, or networking—you are a part of a distinguished group that upholds the collaborative spirit that was once part of your education and, now, your post-Northwestern experiences. I encourage you to use this site, as well as the Kellogg Alumni Network, where 50,000 alumni, located all over the world, stay connected to Kellogg and Northwestern.

Sincerely,

Dipak C. Jain
Dean, Kellogg School of Management
