Legends of the Nile

The Northwestern travelers started their journey in Cairo.  Situated on the fertile banks of the Nile, Egypt’s capital is also the largest city on the African continent.   They visited the world-famous Egyptian Museum with its splendid treasures from the tomb of Tutankhamen.  They marveled at the Pyramids of Giza and the renowned Sphinx.  Next, the group spent five days aboard a deluxe cruise ship that navigated the Nile River from Luxor to Aswan.  They traveled to the Valleys of the Kings and Queens and the breathtaking Temple of Philae.  The NAA travelers concluded their trip in Cairo and spent one last relaxing night in the historic city.
