NU Club of the Twin Cities

Greetings from the Northwestern University Club of the Twin Cities!

The NU Club of the Twin Cities is on the move! We are here to provide an excellent opportunity for all area alumni, students, and their families and friends to get together and support each other and NU. We offer networking, enrichment through educational, social, and philanthropic programs, and of course, fun and school spirit!

Through the NU Club of the Twin Cities, you can connect with nearly 4,000 Northwestern alums in the Twin Cities area. Our many events throughout the year appeal to a broad range of interests and alumni. These events include social and networking events, educational programs, community service events, and sporting events. There is something for all alumni, students, parents, friends, and family of Northwestern. Expand your life and your circle of friends - all while supporting and celebrating our great alma mater!

This past membership year, we participated in the following activities:

First annual family picnic
Annual “New Student Party” for incoming freshmen Weekly football game viewings at Champps
"Make a Difference Day" with Feed My Starving Children
Holiday wine tasting at Spill the Wine
Dance Marathon fundraiser at O’Gara’s
Big 10 Council happy hour at Major’s
Children’s Theatre Co. production of Mulan, Jr.

The upcoming year promises to be one filled with even more fun, excitement, networking, and socializing. Scheduled activities include a St. Paul Saints game with the Big 10 Council in June, a family picnic and the “New Student Party” in August, and the NU v. MN football game in October. We hope that you will join us as we celebrate our Northwestern Pride!

Scholarship Updates

In Spring 2010, the NU Club of the Twin Cities received 3 donations for our club scholarship fund. Our club scholarship fund helps provide partial scholarships to Twin Cities-area students to help them attend Northwestern. We are thankful to those who participated in the program and would like to recognize you on our honor roll below.
