The Northwestern University Club of Virginia invites all NU alumni and supporters to join. The Club, launched in 2003, is nearing its ninth year of hosting exciting events for our members.

Now that we are well established, the Club has developed several signature events, and they form the foundation of our programming. Each spring, members gather for a winery or brewery tour and tasting in the Charlottesville area. In August we hold a reception for NU students and their parents before the students head to Evanston. Each fall, we gather in Staunton to attend a theatrical performance at the Blackfriars Playhouse, followed by a reception in a local restaurant. In 2012 we are also planning: a visit to the Chrysler Museum of Art in Norfolk; an event with an NU faculty speaker; a Dance Marathon fundraiser; numerous “game watches” during the basketball and football seasons; informal happy hour gatherings; a year-end holiday party; and more. Club members are also invited to attend programs hosted by the NU Club of Washington DC.
Your membership dues help support this programming!

We have recently established a scholarship fund that will enable the annual presentation of a grant to a deserving NU student.
