Campus Events
Homecoming and Reunion Weekend is packed with opportunities to spend time on campus—from exhibits and performances, to campus tours, to live talks with distinguished alumni speakers. The full schedule will be released this summer.

Learn MoreComing to town for Reunion Weekend? Find resources here―including hotel accommodations in and around Evanston and information about campus parking, shuttles, and public transportation. We’ll update this page frequently, so check back as Reunion Weekend approaches.
Make your travel plans for Homecoming and Reunion Weekend 2025 early: Alumni and their guests are responsible for their own travel arrangements, and hotels can fill up fast. The Chicago’s North Shore Convention and Visitors Bureau and Choose Chicago are great resources for the many affordable accommodation options in the Evanston and Chicago areas.
We also reserve hotel room blocks for alumni at local hotels. These room blocks do not include a special discount or rate—rather, they are held for alumni solely as an accommodation option for Homecoming and Reunion Weekend. Block sizes are limited, with rooms offered on a first-come-first-serve basis. Hotel block availability can only be guaranteed through each hotel’s specified cut-off date. Details about reservation deadlines, rates, and other terms and conditions can be found on the hotel websites through the links below.
Northwestern’s Evanston and Chicago campuses are easily accessible by public transportation, including the CTA rail and bus system and the Metra commuter rail:
Park free on campus throughout Reunion Weekend: University parking restrictions will be waived during Reunion Weekend from Thursday at 4 p.m. through Sunday, excluding emergency lanes and reserved spots. See the Evanston campus parking map.
Note: Vehicles parked in gated garages will need to exit before midnight Thursday through Sunday to avoid a fee. Gates will be raised at 4 p.m. on Thursday and 5 a.m. Friday through Sunday.
Evanston has 10 Divvy bike share stations located around the city and Northwestern’s campus to provide visitors with an additional two-wheeled transportation option. Divvy is intended for short trips within Evanston or across Divvy’s network of more than 580 Chicagoland stations.
A gift in honor of your Reunion supports need-based scholarships, faculty recruitment, academic innovations, and unparalleled learning experiences. All gifts and pledges made from September 1, 2024 through October 31, 2025 to any area of the University will count towards your class total.
