Club Leadership
Commitment: 1–2 years
Roles: President, Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President for Membership, Vice President for Programming
Clubs are at the heart of the alumni experience, and their success is thanks to dedicated volunteers from undergraduate, graduate, and professional school alumni communities. With guidance and support from the NAA, club leaders worldwide organize networking, volunteering, social, and educational programs that bring alumni together and celebrate Purple Pride.
Northwestern has more than 60 clubs in the US and across the globe. The benefits and services provided by alumni clubs, groups, and communities are open to all alumni.
While leadership opportunities vary by club, typical roles include president, secretary, treasurer, and vice presidents for membership and programming. These leaders work closely with the University and their local alumni club communities, shaping meaningful experiences throughout their term. The minimum commitment is generally one to two years.
