Hotels and Lodging
We encourage alumni and guests to make travel arrangements early for Homecoming and Reunion Weekend 2026. This year, the Bank of America Chicago Marathon is occurring the same weekend. Hotel availability can be limited, and reservations are the responsibility of individual attendees.
We also reserve hotel room blocks for alumni at local hotels. These room blocks do not include a special discount or rate—rather, they are held for alumni solely as an accommodation option for Homecoming and Reunion Weekend. Travel to Northwestern
Chicago O’Hare International Airport and Midway International Airport both offer convenient access to Northwestern’s Evanston campus. Resources below provide guidance for traveling to and around campus from either airport.
Campus parking is free until midnight throughout the weekend, beginning Thursday at 4 p.m. and continuing through Sunday. Vehicles parked in gated garages must exit before midnight Thursday through Sunday to avoid a parking fee. Garage gates will be raised beginning at 4 p.m. on Thursday and from 5 a.m. Friday through Sunday.
Visitors with ADA license plates or placards issued by a government agency may park in designated ADA spaces or parking meters. Valet service is available during select events and times, including:
Norris University Center (Friday daytime)
Half Century Club Reunion party (Friday evening)
50th Class Reunion party (Friday evening)
Half Century Club Brunch (Sunday morning)
Evanston has 10 Divvy bike-share stations throughout the city and Northwestern’s campus, providing a convenient option for short trips. Divvy bikes may be used within Evanston or across a network of more than 580 Chicagoland stations.

Public-facing administrative and academic buildings hosting Homecoming and Reunion Weekend events offer ADA-accessible entrances with exterior push buttons. If the main entrance is not accessible, an alternate ADA accessible perimeter door with push plates will be available. In the rare event of a malfunction, Facilities Customer Service is available after hours at 847-491-5201.
