Students can participate in the Northwestern Alumni Mentorship Program, the Northwestern Externship (NEXT) Program, and Mentor Circles—each offering meaningful guidance from engaged Northwestern alumni. Through one-on-one and small-group mentoring, students gain career insight, industry perspective, practical advice, résumé support, and confidence as they navigate academic choices, internships, and life after graduation.

Arch Society is a group of student leaders who represent Northwestern students and help shape the alumni experience. Members support campus traditions, assist at University and alumni events, and play a hands-on role in welcoming their peers into the alumni community—while building leadership skills and expanding their networks along the way.
Each fall, Homecoming brings campus to life with a full week of spirited celebration, featuring alumni reunions and events including special lectures and panels, concerts, a pep rally, and tailgating across Evanston. The week culminates with the Homecoming football game, where this year the Northwestern Wildcats take on the Ball State Cardinals on October 10.
Each spring, thousands of Northwestern community members get together at historic Wrigley Field for an unforgettable night under the lights. Join us for NU Day @ Wrigley and get a special-edition Cubs hat in Northwestern colors. Every ticket makes an impact: the Chicago Cubs donate a portion of the proceeds from each purchase to Northwestern’s Student Activities Assistance Fund, helping students get involved in clubs, activities, and the full campus experience.
