This immersive journey through Egypt begins in Cairo with a visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum, home to over 100,000 artifacts including Tutankhamun’s complete tomb collection.

Trip Information

We explore the Giza Pyramids and Sphinx, then visit Old Cairo’s historic churches and the Ben Ezra Synagogue. Flying south to Aswan, we continue to Abu Simbel to see the monumental temples of Ramses II. A Lake Nasser cruise reveals Nubia’s heritage at ancient temple sites before we visit the Aswan High Dam and the Temples of Philae. Sailing north on the Nile, we tour Kom Ombo, Edfu, and Luxor’s Valley of the Kings, Karnak, and Luxor Temple. Returning to Cairo, we explore Khan el-Khalili, the Citadel of Saladin, and the ancient sites of Sakkara, concluding a remarkable journey through Egypt’s civilizations. Discover fabled Petra, ancient Jerash, and Amman with an optional 5-day/4-night post-tour Jordan extension.
