Get assistance with branded email and event support.
The Northwestern Alumni Association and Kellogg Alumni Relations support volunteers through a dedicated team of staff who assist alumni clubs and communities with creating polished, branded, copyedited event registration pages and email communications.
Submission Process
- You submit a request.
Complete the project request form with the content you want to include in your email or event promotion. Please submit as much information as possible to help our team create the email or event registration page. To ensure sufficient preparation time, requests must be submitted at least four (4) business days before the email’s intended send date or event registration launch
- We build emails and event registration forms.
After receiving the project request form, our team will provide editorial support for grammar, punctuation, and University branding standards while maintaining a club’s established voice and style. We'll also help source images when needed.
- You review the preview.
We’ll send you a preview of the email or event registration for review. Please reply with your feedback, and we will make changes within one business day. After you approve your preview, we will schedule the email or open the event for registration.
- We pull the distribution list and send the email.
Based on your audience selections, we’ll create the distribution list. If you want to target a specific segment of your audience, such as only current paid members or graduates from the last decade, we can do that too. Once your list is finalized, we will schedule your message to be sent on your requested date.
- We provide regular updates.
Throughout the process, we provide reports that help you track event registrations and email effectiveness. Your staff liaison is also available to discuss content ideas and engagement strategies. We encourage you to draw on their expertise as you plan future email or event requests.
